This year, we proudly dedicate Make a Difference Day to the memory of Terrence Williams, a cherished member of the Monrovia community. Terrence's unwavering commitment to the students and families of Monrovia Unified School District (MUSD) left an indelible mark on our community.
Serving as an elected trustee from 2014 to 2018, Terrence worked tirelessly to ensure that every voice was heard, advocating particularly for students at Plymouth Elementary and Santa Fe Computer Magnet School. His efforts led to significant improvements in transparency, making MUSD board meetings accessible to all, a vital step in fostering community engagement.
Beyond his role on the school board, Terrence was a board member of the Volunteer Center of San Gabriel Valley and actively participated in various organizations, including the Monrovia Arcadia Duarte Town Council and the Rotary Club. He embodied the spirit of service, always wearing a smile and lending a helping hand whenever needed.
As we gather to honor his legacy, we remember Terrence not only for his dedication but for his warmth and kindness that touched so many lives. His impact on our community will forever resonate, and we invite everyone to join us in celebrating his life and contributions on Make a Difference Day.
Let us come together to continue the work he so passionately championed, ensuring that all members of our community feel supported and represented.
