On Saturday, October 22nd, 2016, 270 volunteers, gathered together with the Volunteer Center of San Gabriel Valley and the city of Monrovia to participate in the 26th annual Make A Difference Day event.  Created by The Points of Light Foundation, Make A Difference Day is the largest community service effort in the nation, rallying volunteers, community leaders, youth, and charitable organizations into action all on one day.
This year community beautification projects included parks and neighborhood clean-ups, and a home repair project for Veteran Family in need.  The call to volunteer was very strong in our community, with volunteers ready to go out and help.  Stay tuned for the 27th annual Make A Difference Day on October 27, 2017, and find out how you can help your community through volunteerism!

The Volunteer Center of San Gabriel Valley would like  to thank the following businesses and groups for their SUPPORT at the 26th annual Make a Difference Day
